Anyone else have one of those households? Can’t find a clean cup to save your life? We have 3 kids, and they’ve managed to break nearly every glass and ceramic mug we own, so we are resorting to plastic until they are out of their clumsy stage. Well, all I wanted to do this morning, was take my allergy pill. That’s it. It’s been a bad allergy day, my nose was running like a faucet, I fumbled to get both a Benedryl and a Wal-act out of the packages and then reach into the cabinet to find absolutely no cups. I found plenty of lids, plenty of swirly straws, even a few bottle caps (and my youngest is nearly 5). I stare in dismay at the full sink of dishes and realize my son, whose job it is to fill the dishwasher, had not told my other son, whose job it is to empty the dishwasher, that he needed to empty the dishwasher. So my brilliant son just puts a few dirty dishes in with the clean dishes and starts the dishwasher over again. So now we have clean cups I can’t get at until the cycles complete and a bunch of dirty cups in the sink. In the end I resorted to using my little girl’s pink toy teacup to take my pill.
